Secretary
I am Rohit Farmer from Allahabad, pursuing PhD (2011-2014) from the School of Biosciences. I am serving as the secretary for the year 2011-12 at the Guild of Students. BP has been an awesome experience and I got many opportunities to network with people from various background ranging from students to officials at the Consulate. It gave me a platform to test and hone my leadership skills. Being on the committee gave me a special recognition in the Guild of Students as well as in ISAS (International Students Advisory Service). I joined the UoB mainly because of its reputation as a research oriented university but BP gave me an opportunity to see myself as a leader in areas different from my academic research. And last but not the least as the name suggests we are part of a family, which cares, makes you laugh when you are feeling sad and lonely, supports in your trials and enjoys in your triumphs. Jai Hind !!
